Plain-language summary: PassLane is an independent study tool. It helps you prepare for a state insurance licensing exam — it does not administer the exam and cannot guarantee that you’ll pass. Use it to study; verify everything against your state’s official sources.

1. What PassLane is

PassLane (“we,” “us”) is an independent exam-preparation study application for the U.S. insurance licensing examinations. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any state Department of Insurance or official examination provider. We do not administer, score, or proctor the real licensing exam.

2. No guarantee of results

Studying with PassLane does not guarantee a passing score or a license. Exam content, statutes, regulations, and dollar thresholds change and vary by state. The material may contain errors, omissions, or simplifications. Always confirm requirements with your state’s regulator and exam provider.

3. Free and Plus

Installing and practicing is free. PassLane Plus is a paid upgrade ($15.99/month or $59.99 one-time lifetime) that unlocks hands-free voice study, the full question bank, offline flashcards, and readiness scoring. Purchases and subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple or Google under their terms; manage or cancel through your App Store or Google Play account.

4. Acceptable use

Use PassLane for your own exam preparation. Do not copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute the question banks or content, and do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Nothing in PassLane is legal, financial, insurance, tax, or other professional advice.
