Short version: PassLane does not collect, store, or share any of your personal information. Everything happens on your own device.
None. PassLane has no user accounts, no login, and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any personal data, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Your study progress, streak, flagged questions, settings, and your acceptance of the Terms are saved locally on your device only (in your browser/app storage). This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
If you tap “Suggest a question or improvement” and send a message, that opens your own email app so you can email your suggestion to us. We receive only what you choose to write and the email address you send it from. Sending a suggestion is entirely optional.
PassLane reads questions and answers aloud using pre-recorded audio bundled in the app. The optional voice-answer feature, where available, uses your device/browser’s built-in speech recognition; PassLane itself does not record, store, or transmit any audio.
PassLane is intended for adults preparing for professional licensing exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
The app is delivered over standard web hosting, which may process basic technical request data (such as your IP address) solely to serve the app, as is standard for any website. We do not sell or share any information with third parties for marketing.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
